Description
Our Mozzarella Workshop is a unique experience to taste mozzarella as it should be, made that day!
Before the class we’ll transform milk from the Bidlea herd into curds and then you can perform the all important ‘stretch test’ to understand when the curds are ready for the ‘filatura’ (spinning the curds in hot water), observe as curds undergo this process and are shaped into the bocconcini, (there’s an opportunity to gets hands on shaping the mozzarella if you feel comfortable handling the hot curd).
We’ll also have a go at making a Burrata, a Mozzarella outer case filled with Mozzarella and cream! (Previously we’ve flavoured these with wild garlic and pesto!)
After we’ve made our cheese, we’ll serve and enjoy with accompaniments.
